Lloyds Business Barometer

By Annette White

The Lloyds Business Barometer is a monthly survey of UK businesses, designed to provide an indicator of business performance and economic expectations.

UK businesses with a turnover of £1 million and over are interviewed every month about their trading prospects/business activity in the next year (increase, decrease or stay the same) and about their optimism regarding the economy generally compared with three months ago (more optimistic/pessimistic or neither).

The trends are documented in monthly publications of the Lloyds Barometer and within nationally issued press releases. Widespread media coverage is regularly achieved for Lloyds across major broadsheets such as The Telegraph, The Independent and leading financial media like Bloomberg, City AM.

Hann Ju Ho, Director of Proprietary Data Modelling, Lloyds Commercial Banking said:

"We receive excellent service from BVA BDRC in producing the results of our long-running flagship business survey.
