Digital Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a Digital Marketing Executive or Manager (subject to experience) whose creative flair and technical skills in marketing platforms is matched by a desire to contribute to business growth through marketing. 

What’s the job?

Reporting to the Marketing Director you will work across 5 BDRC Group brands (BVA BDRC, ESA Retail, Viewpoint, Alligator and Perspective) as well as collaborating with colleagues at sister companies within the wider BVA Family. 

The role is hands-on and sits perfectly at the intersection between marketing and sales / business development – everything that you do will have a tangible commercial goal, such as driving traffic to our channels, generating leads for business development colleagues to nurture, or maximising engagement amongst existing clients. Of course, this is all while staying true to our brand, exemplifying our call to action as a group, which is to Be Better (helping people be better at what they do, while taking steps to make the world a better place). 

What you’ll do

You’ll work closely with marketing and business development colleagues to plan, design and execute effective lead generation campaigns and digital marketing campaigns: 

  • Briefing and ideation – advise about suitable approaches / channels to meet individual campaign and strategic objectives 
  • Web optimisation – SEO, content updates, feature developments to improve UX / conversions – working with other members of the team 
  • Set-up and manage email campaigns – create and refine leads lists, draft / edit copy 
  • Set-up and manage Google Ads campaigns 
  • Set-up and manage webinars – preparation, ensuring all goes smoothly on the day, coordinating follow-up activity 
  • Maintaining and cleaning CRM / leads databases 
  • Review and report back on performance metrics, identifying ways to refine or improve our approach 

What you’ll bring

A demonstrable track record of leading successful digital marketing campaigns to generate leads, drive web traffic and enquiries – experience that you will have acquired in at least one other digital marketing role, including technical expertise in: 

  • Hubspot for CRM and email campaigns, with the ability to set-up forms, sequences and reporting self-sufficiently (this is an absolute must!) 
  • Google Ads to drive quality enquiries, including refining tactics to improve results 
  • CMS systems, especially WordPress, to maintain and update a website, with a firm understanding of user experience – familiarity with Elementor and/or CSS would also be viewed as a bonus  
  • Platforms such as Zoom or Livestorm, for hosting client / prospect webinars 
  • Use of AI, Sales Navigator and other platforms to generate leads lists 
  • SEO 

Your technical skills will be complimented by the following attributes: 

  • A creative mindset, understanding the key role effective storytelling, communication, and branding  
  • Empathy and an ability to put yourself in the shoes of the target audience to maximise campaign success 
  • An analytical approach, with the ability to understand data and reporting, as well as drawing insights and learnings 
  • High level of computer literacy and aptitude with relevant software, tools, and platforms (you’re unfazed when learning new solutions or features!) 
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously, while effectively integrating with other team members and communicating clearly about progress 
  • An ability to collaborate with colleagues, take constructive feedback and integrate into plans / drafts 
  • Proactive in learning new skills and keeping up to date with digital trends 
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multi-task, managing various campaigns simultaneously and to tight deadlines  
  • A ‘can do attitude’, willingness to get stuck in and passion for effective marketing communications – especially when plans change or we need to act quickly! 
  • Excellent, fluent written and spoken English (other languages are not a requirement, but would be viewed as a bonus) 

Experience in one or more of the following would be viewed favourably, though are not essential: B2B marketing, Elementor, Magileads and MailJet.
